It was great to welcome back Christopher Kelly to Worth last Friday as our latest guest speaker in the Spencer Lecture Series for Sixth Form students and Year 11 scholars.
A former Worth student, Christopher (St Bede’s, 1978) spoke about his work at the beautiful Vézelay Basilica in France, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Spencer Lecture Series is intended to provide students with thought-provoking, scholarly, creative, philosophical, political, technological or social enriching information. Our next speaker will be former Worth teacher Dr Duncan Pring who will deliver a lecture on the indigenous peoples of the Americas on Friday 24 February.
We would love to hear from anyone who would be willing to contribute on anything from installation art to robotics, working for the Vatican to running an international business. If you can help, please contact Dr Bruna Gushurst-Moore, Assistant Head (Sixth Form) at bgushurstmoore@worth.org.uk
