Worth pupil in national finals

Congratulations to one of our pupils who has qualified for the Spanish National Karate Championships after winning a regional competition.

Year 11 pupil Adrian Manso Amal will compete in the age 14-15, under-57kg category at the championship finals at Pontevedra in Spain on 25, 26 and 27 November. He secured his place by winning a regional competition which took place during the recent half term.

Adrian, who took up karate when he was six, will be competing at the national championships for the fourth time. On the first two occasions he finished third and the last time was not placed.
