Worth Watching media club

This group will write, film, edit and produce an online news magazine with one finished magazine being published each six-week cycle.

Students will take complete leadership for the project with one serving as editor, one as producer, some as writers, some as camera crew, video editors, anchors, interviewers etc. Students will have a session in which they explore how topical news magazines work and then will begin a planning and editing sessions where the stories they want to explore are pitched and chosen. Once the stories are written, students will make arrangements to film their stories and then will use iMovie or similar to edit their stories into a news magazine programme. Each six-week session will end with a viewing party.
