Worth cricketer picked for Sussex

Congratulations to Worth cricketer Ellen Camp who has been selected for the Sussex U14/15 squad for the 2025-26 season.

Ellen got on to the Sussex Cricket Pathway in Year 6, but after two seasons agreed with the coaches to step away for a bit, with the goal of trying out again in the future.

Trying to get back on to a county pathway is no mean feat, with a lot of dedication needed to ensure you catch up with those that have received additional coaching in the meantime. However, through her efforts and the coaching she has received at Worth and her club, Ellen has earned a place in the Sussex U14/15 squad.

Already well into her winter training programme, she is looking forward to getting back outdoors in the summer, which will also bring matches against the equivalent squads from other counties.

Well done Ellen.
