Worth celebrates fabulous GCSE results

Worth School is celebrating some of the best GCSE results it has ever achieved, including many individual pupils who have achieved extremely impressive results.

Dozens of pupils have achieved a GCSE average of 9-7 (A*-A) and a number have secured as many as 9 or 10 grade 9s. Results have improved at every grade level for a second consecutive year and in some cases now exceed those achieved even when COVID-related exam mitigations were still in place.

Dr Daniel Coughlan, the Deputy Head (Academic), said: “Many congratulations to pupils and staff on these excellent results! There are many remarkable achievements at all levels of attainment, which is a testament to the hard work of pupils and the academic and pastoral support that they have received. It is delightful to see how pleased the pupils are by their success and we look forward to seeing them thrive in the Sixth Form.”

Mrs Sarah Flint, the Head of Middle School, commented: “I am so happy and proud of our 2025 GCSE cohort who pushed themselves throughout the year to achieve their very best today. Congratulations! What you learnt this year has set you up for even more success in future and I wish you all the very best on your chosen paths.”
