World Cup-themed cross-curricular day

Worth held a World Cup-themed cross-curricular day last week, providing pupils in Years 7 to 9 with engaging lessons and plenty of fun.

Cross-curricular days allow pupils learn to connect concepts, think critically and understand how to approach challenges from different angles.

Pupils were split into six teams representing World Cup nations Argentina, Brazil, England, France, Portugal and Spain and earned points throughout the day based on what they achieved in each lesson, culminating in deciding the winning nation.

The day was enjoyable for the pupils as well as being stimulating as they tackled challenging projects.
