Why our boarding provision stands out

Back in October Worth was named Boarding School of the Year at the Independent Schools of the Year awards. This was a reward for our work over a number of years to constantly evolve our provision for boarders and our new film about boys’ boarding at Worth gives a flavour of why we stand out from others.
You can watch the film below or on our Boarding page where you will also find a girls’ boarding film which was made a couple of years ago but continues to show how life is for boarders in St Mary’s House.
We have five boarding Houses at Worth: St Mary’s is split in two Houses, Middles and Sixth, plus there are three boys’ boarding Houses – Gervase, Rutherford and St Bede’s. Flexi boarding is offered in Butler House.
Worth also has a Head of Boarding, Mr Alick Macleod, who organises activities and events for boarders on Saturday evenings. Our broad-ranging weekend programme also offers activities, trips and social events on Friday evenings and Sundays.
