What's going on in the teenage brain

“Brilliant talk, really enlightening” said one of the 40 parents from around the world who joined Ms Louise Chamberlain, Deputy Head (Pastoral) for an online seminar on ‘The Teenage Brain’ on Saturday. The wide-ranging talk covered, amongst others, the development of grey and white matter, motivation, friendship turbulence, how to help with emotional control, your family non-negotiables and negotiables, how to help students to stay ‘on task’, flexible thinking, metacognition and the importance of stories in communication.
