They made it out! Students had great fun taking part in an escape room experience as part of our weekends programme.
A visit to Hounds escape rooms in Crawley was one of the highlights of last weekend’s programme, along with scuba diving and a trip to watch ice hockey at the Guildford Spectrum.
This weekend’s programme starts with the House debating final in the Performing Arts Centre on Friday evening, which is the culmination of a competition involving all 10 Houses in the School. Also on Friday, the latest talk in our Spencer Lecture Series takes place in the Spencer Building with our guest speaker being Worthian Christopher Kelly who will be talking about the Basilica of Vezelay, a Heritage Site in Burgundy.
On Saturday evening St Bede’s House will be running a cinema and pizza night for all students on campus, while there is another fun trip on Sunday to take part in airsoft in a local activity centre.
The daytime programme on Saturday includes a great choice of clubs, activities and societies, dedicated study support sessions, volunteering opportunities and sports fixtures. Among the options are:
