A warm welcome to new families

Worth was delighted to host two excellent ‘Welcome Events’ last week which were designed to welcome families joining us for the 2023-24 academic year into the School community.
About 100 families joined us for a Year 7/8 Welcome Event last Friday and a Year 9 event on Saturday. The days included introductory talks by Head Master Mr Stuart McPherson and senior prefects, an opportunity to meet the House teams and find out important day-to-day information, parental information stands and clothing stands, concluding with summer afternoon tea.
In addition, families at the Year 7/8 event were given tours of the campus by current Year 7 pupils, which was a great way to find out more about the School.
A third Welcome Event for Years 10, 11 and 12 takes place this Saturday.
