Values shine through at CAFOD fundraiser

Worth School

Our team of CAFOD Young Leaders exemplified the School’s values of service and community when they organised an excellent football fundraiser before the end of the Lent Term.

Following on from a similar event last year, the CAFOD Young Leaders arranged a ‘day versus boarding’ football match, which the latter won. At the game, the Young Leaders sold more than 150 pizzas, baked goods and drinks, as well as collecting donations to further boost their fundraising.

At Worth students and staff live their everyday lives by a set of six values (humility, silence, worship, community, stewardship and service) which we believe are fundamental to the formation of who we become as people.

CAFOD (Catholic Agency For Overseas Development) is the official Catholic aid agency for England and Wales. The organisation helps people directly in their own communities and campaigns for global justice, so that everyone can reach their full potential.
