Worth is delighted that two teams of students received distinctions in the recent Perse Coding Team Challenge and are through to the second round of this national Computer Science competition.
This is the first time Worth has entered students into this competition which involves schools across the UK. As well as two teams receiving distinctions, two other teams received merits, with one of them missing out on the next round by a single point.
The Perse Coding Team Challenge, which is open to students up to Year 11, involves teams competing online for The Braben Cup by solving text-coding challenges. The second round is the final stage of the competition.
The Computer Science department at Worth is encouraging students to enter more national competitions. Well done to those going through to the second round.
