Sixth Form Spanish language students visited the Cervantes Theatre in London this week to watch La Casa de Bernarda Alba, a play they are studying for their A Level exam.
The students loved the play which they say has helped them gain a deeper insight into the plot and characters, which in turn will help greatly with their essay writing in their A Level exam.
La Casa de Bernarda Alba is a play which explores themes of repression, passion and conformity through the depiction of a matriarch’s domination of her five daughters.
This was an excellent trip organised by the Modern Foreign Languages department. During the academic year, Worth offers a variety of educational trips which support learning in the classroom.
