Working in small groups, Year 12 students taking the IB Diploma produced some excellent investigative work as part of the annual Collaborative Science Project.
The Collaborative Science Project is a compulsory part of the IB Diploma. Students are placed in groups that mix different science subjects to mirror how multidisciplinary teams of scientists solve real-world problems.
While providing a platform to showcase their particular science skills, the project also encourages teamwork, communication and the process of collaboration.
Groups worked on their projects for a day and a half before presenting their conclusions to their peers. This concluded with a prize-giving judged by staff in the Science department.
Congratulations to all students for some fabulous work.
