Talent shines at Worth music festival

Well done to all students who performed at our popular GlastonBede’s Music Festival which showcased the creativity, musical talent and fun within the School.

The event took place last Saturday evening outside the main building at Worth, giving students an opportunity to collaborate with friends on music they enjoy. It was lovely to see so many students performing.

Music is important at Worth with many different ways to perform, including choirs, the school orchestra, concert band, jazz band and various ensembles as well as open mic events and the annual House Music competition.

As well as GlastonBede’s, the Summer Term provides a number of other musical events, including our annual Music Scholars’ Concert this Friday and then the Worth Musician of the Year final on Friday 8 May. We will also be hosting an Informal Strings Concert on Friday 15 May and Informal Performance Concert on Friday 5 June.
