Summer Concert 2026
Fri, May 29th, 2026
Another great year of music at Worth was celebrated with the annual Summer Concert, which was part of our Speech Day festivities.
The programme included performances from the sax ensemble, string quartet, flute trio, cello group and Chamber Choir. After an interval, the Concert Orchestra played seven pieces including a wide range of music from classical to modern as well as some well-known television and film soundtracks.
A packed term of music has included the annual Music Scholars’ Concert, the final of Worth’s Musician of the Year competition, an Informal Strings Concert and the yearly GlastonBede’s Music Festival, which gave students of all abilities the opportunity to collaborate with friends on music they enjoy.
