Worth School

From the joy of winning to the rewards of taking part, with records broken and two runners crossing the line hand-in-hand in first place, the spirit and talent at Worth again shone through on Sports Day.

For the first time since 2019 our annual the Inter-House Athletics Championships were back at the K2 in Crawley and it was great to see the pupils giving their all for their Houses. There was a fabulous atmosphere on the day and some great achievements, including a number of records broken – more details to follow in due course.

St Anne’s House won both the Intermediate Girls and Senior Girls trophies, while Gervase House did likewise in the boys’ competitions. Taggart, meanwhile, were the Junior School winners.

The Victor Ludorum award, for the boy of the meeting, went to Christian and the Victrix Ludorum, for the girl athlete of the meeting, was won by Beatrice.
