Two Year 13 students will be completing an Ironman Triathlon over the course of this week to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Alex Glascott and Robert Reeves will be taking on the physical challenge of a 3.9km swim, a 180.2km bike ride and a 42.2km run between them for a very worthy cause – and fitting it around their school commitments. The boys are hoping to raise awareness and funds for Cancer Research as a thank you for the cancer treatment that Alex’s mother received. Their charity target is £750.

The boys were training hard in lockdown to prepare for this, making best use of the facilities they had during the coronavirus pandemic. If you can sponsor Alex and Robert please visit their JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/alex-rob-ironman
