A large group of Worth students tackled the challenges of Dartmoor on their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Gold practice expedition at the end of the Lent Term.
Worth is proud of its large and active Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme. Last year we had a record number of students completing their Gold award and a similar number are going through the process this year.
They will return to Dartmoor in June for the qualifying expedition at the same time as our Silver Award students take on their qualifying expedition on Exmoor. In addition, Year 9 pupils will be taking part in the Bronze Award qualifying expedition on Ashdown Forest a week later.
