A group of almost 80 Year 9 students took on new challenges and showed great resilience during their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Qualifying Expedition at the end of term.
The students displayed great character during the two-day expedition in the final week of the Summer Term. This followed Gold and Silver Qualifying Expeditions for students at the School during the term.
Worth is proud of its long association with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and of the numbers of students who participate each year at all levels.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award helps young people to become well-rounded, ambitious and adventurous individuals. It is recognised by universities and organisations around the world for the self-improvement and charitable works students must undertake to earn this coveted Award.
