Students honoured by Head Master

Worth School

Congratulations to five students who have been presented with the Head Master’s Award for Outstanding Achievement.

Felix Bateman-Champain, who made his England U18s rugby debut in the Six Nations Festival in Italy during the Easter holidays, was one of the recipients of these prestigious awards.

In addition, the four members of our equestrian team who will represent Worth at the Royal Windsor Horse Show in May have also been honoured.

Only 20 schools across the country have qualified for the Royal Windsor show, which is the most revered event on the show jumping calendar, being held in the private grounds of Windsor Castle and usually attended by royalty. Worth secured a place by winning the 90cm class at the regional qualifier at Coombelands at the end of March, edging out Seaford College who had been national champions for the past two years.

These five students received their awards in assembly on Monday.

Well done to all and good luck to our equestrian team next month.
