Students explore artistic ideas

Year 10 artists were able to explore and refine their artistic ideas when they attended a screen-printing workshop with talented printmaker Jane Sampson.

The GCSE Art students spent an engaging day at Ink Spot Press in Hove, creating artwork which will count towards their final exams. They utilised a piece of artwork they had previously created during the GCSE course, such as a painting, collage or drawing completed this year.

Jane Sampson is an artist, printmaker, educator and author who wrote the book ‘Screenprinting’, which is an excellent resource for artists of all abilities.
