Congratulations to Worth students who performed superbly in the UK Chemistry Olympiad run by the Royal Society of Chemistry.

This is the hardest Chemistry competition that there is for Sixth Formers and Worth students achieved four silver certificates and four bronze, which was a fantast achievement. The Olympiad involves a two-hour exam and encourages students to push themselves further in the field of chemistry, develop critical problem-solving skills and learn to think more creatively.

One Year 13 student was close to a gold award and two of the silver awards were given to Year 12 students who sat the exam after just one term of A Level Chemistry, so the future continues to be bright for Chemistry and the Sciences at Worth.
