Worth School

Congratulations to 16 students who completed their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Gold Qualifying Expedition on Dartmoor last weekend.

This followed 19 students completing their Silver Qualifying Expedition the previous week – well done to all of them.

Worth is proud of its long association with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and of the numbers of students who participate each year. Next week 77 Year 9 pupils will be taking part in their Bronze Qualifying Expedition.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award helps our pupils to become well-rounded, ambitious and adventurous individuals. It is recognised by universities and organisations around the world for the self-improvement and charitable works a young person must undertake to earn this coveted Award.
