Our Year 11 students showed plenty of talent and creativity as they become filmmakers and actors for the day thanks to a visit from the One-Day Film School.
As part of our inspiring ‘Into the Sixth Form’ programme which began last week and finishes on Friday, students learnt about film history, fight choreography, screenwriting, filming and editing. A fascinating day was run by the One-Day Film School, who deliver practical filmmaking courses for school children developed by the Young Film Academy.
The day culminated with students making their own short films which were then premiered in the Performing Arts Centre at Worth before an Oscars-style presentation to the winning group.
