Student shares passion for Economics

One of our Sixth Form students is sharing his passion for Economics by writing his own newsletter on the subject.

Year 12 A Level student Simon Florek has launched ‘Worth Economic News’ which he intends to be a regular publication for fellow Sixth Form students, but he may also make it available to Year 11 pupils thinking of pursuing a course in Economics at A Level or the IB Diploma.

Simon said: “I decided to launch this bulletin to share my passion for the markets, keep my fellow students updated on economic news and make the subject fun beyond the curriculum.”

The four-page launch newsletter contains a range of interesting articles covering markets, economy, stocks, currencies, rates and futures, and has been designed in an eye-catching way.

It is impressive to see a student take on an initiative like this and to show such passion for a subject. Well done Simon.
