Congratulations to Year 12 Music Scholar Jessica on being awarded a place in the National Youth Choir of Great Britain (Training Choir).
Admission to the choir is highly competitive and the panel praised Jessica for her “expressive performance” and her “passion for singing and music”. Jessica joins an almost unbroken succession of Worth students who have been members of the choir in recent years.
Jessica is a Music Scholar at Worth. She is a talented and versatile singer, being a member of Worth’s Schola Cantorum (our school choir of more than 50 singers) and our auditioned Chamber Choir, as well as playing one of the lead roles in our school musical, Little Shop of Horrors, this term. She is also a talented multi-instrumentalist, being a highly accomplished cellist, pianist and tenor horn player.
Well done Jessica.
