“There is an educational ethos here that is really quite special”. These were the words of a friend already teaching at Worth that brought me here.
During my interview process to become a teacher at Worth I was introduced to a group of sixth form students who treated me to a tour and their personal take on the school. I have no doubt they were ‘hand-picked’, but what overwhelmed me then was their passionate articulation of a close-knit community that transcended year groups. A number of years on and I am pleased to say that their rhetoric was not just for my benefit as a visitor. There is a level of true caring for each other here at Worth that makes those of us lucky enough to be part of this community feel privileged."
