Showcasing our talented photographers

Worth School

Photography is a popular subject choice at Worth at both A Level and GCSE, and each month we celebrate the impressive work of our students with a ‘Photo of the Month’ competition.

The competition is open to all students, including those who do not study the subject but opt to get involved with Photography through the weekly activities programme or who are keen photographers in their own time.

Our monthly competitions are a chance for students to share their work with a wider audience and each monthly winner is put through to a grand final at the end of the year which is judged by a panel of professional photographers. In 2024-25, we introduced a second annual trophy, the David Cannon Sports Photo of the Year competition, and in June David Cannon, the world’s leading golf photographer, came into the School to present the two trophies as well as deliver a masterclass in photography for the finalists.

For our September Photo of the Month competition, we have 12 images to choose from which are displayed on our graphic. You can vote for your favourite or favourites by going to the school Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/worthschool/

Votes cast on Facebook are added to those collected internally at the School to find a monthly winner.
