The show goes on for Drama at Worth

Fri, Oct 2nd, 2020
Worth School

Life may not be the same across the world at the moment but the show goes on for the Drama department at Worth and our students are working hard on a number of projects this term.

The Year 7 and 8 Drama Club have been busy rehearsing Macbeth this week – as our pictures show. The Year 9 Scholar Drama Club are rehearsing for a film they are making and the Year 11 Drama students are busy devising rehearsals for their forthcoming exam.

At Worth we try to give students an opportunity to experience a range of performance styles during their time at the School, including classical, contemporary, comedy and Shakespeare. We also offer the opportunity to learn about the technical aspects of theatre, with students programming sound and lighting for the productions, working closely with the School’s full-time technician. They also assist with costume and make-up design.
