Sharing a love of reading
Thu, Oct 20th, 2022
Worth’s Book of the Month competition was introduced so that pupils could share a love of reading with their peers.
Pupils get to nominate a book they have enjoyed, a monthly winner is then chosen and that book is displayed in the Library at Worth, which is now based in the fabulous Spencer Building, for other pupils to see.
This month’s winning entry was ‘Scythe’ by Neal Shusterman which was chosen by Year 9 pupil Benny McNeill. Benny said: “Scythe is an amazing and original Sci-fi (probably my favourite ever). It is very well written and at times very funny.”
Well done Benny for a great choice.
