Worth School

Creativity is in full flow in Science lessons as pupils progress their understanding not only through using the on-screen technologies but through off-screen activities such as making food pyramid models, movies, ionic and molecular models, running around to calculate their speed and setting up rusting and rust prevention experiments.

In the latest of a series of articles about our online learning provision, Head of Science, Mrs Andrea Kirpalani, gives a flavour of what her department is currently teaching pupils through Worth Online. This covers all year groups and you can read the document here.

The document also includes details of the Ultimate STEM Challenge which pupils can take part in during half term.

The Science department is also offering various activities and clubs as part of our Saturday morning enrichment programme. Here is a copy of a presentation Mrs Baily gave last Saturday morning on Dark Energy.
