Rugby boys enjoy unbeaten tour

Our senior rugby boys enjoyed a fabulous tour of Canada, going unbeaten and sharing many great experiences.

In terms of the rugby, the boys won all four of their matches on the tour, beating Ottawa Ospreys 38-0, Barrhaven Scottish 3-0 with the last kick of the game, Highlanders Rugby Club 47-7 and Barrie RFC 46-7. All games were played in great spirit with fantastic hospitality from the hosts.

The boys also visited Ottawa Parliament Buildings, went to Canada’s Wonderland, which is Ontario’s biggest theme park, and enjoyed a visit to Niagara Falls as well as having great fun white water rafting.

As well as being something the boys will always remember, it was a great bonding experience ahead of the 2023-24 rugby season.

Thank you to the staff members who led the trip, including Director of Sport Mr David Burton and Head of Rugby Mr Tom Richardson.

Worth is proud of its rugby provision and its many successes in recent years.
