Retreat helps formation in faith

A group of 30 Year 10 pupils continued preparations for their forthcoming Confirmation with a three-day retreat at the SPEC Centre in North London.

Each year the Chaplaincy team runs a Confirmation programme for pupils who wish to take part, culminating in a Confirmation service in the Summer Term.

A necessary part of the programme is an annual retreat which includes a combination of fun and games plus talks and discussions to help pupils understand the journey towards receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation.

The Forerunner team at Worth – a team of youth ministers – offer preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation for both Catholics and Anglicans. The Confirmation programme is fun, lively and engaging while at the same time ensuring that our pupils’ faith formation is deepening their relationship with Christ.
