A remarkable rowing effort

The Chapman House fundraising initiative for the charity PAPYRUS has received a big boost thanks to a remarkable rowing effort from Charley Bentley.
Charley, who was in Year 11 last year, and his grandfather, Robin Hope, sculled 12.5 miles along the Thames from Cookham Dean to Maidenhead in a vintage skiff built in 1895. It was physically challenging but very rewarding as Charley raised £650 for PAPYRUS, a UK charity dedicated to the prevention of young suicide.
Many gratulations to Charley and his grandfather. If you have not already, you can still sponsor Charley through the dedicated House fundraising page: www.justgiving.com/fundraising/CHAPMANHOUSE2020
