Records tumble at Sports Day 2026

Records tumbled and the spirit of Worth shone through as Worth held its annual Athletics Championships at K2 Crawley.

New bests were set in a number of events and, with 25 records having been broken in the previous two years, it was fantastic to see our students pushing themselves to even greater heights.

The day showcased everything good about sport at Worth. Just as importantly as the many achievements, it was great to see all students giving their all and earning points for their teams, with the overall results counting towards the Worth Community Trophy.

The Victor Ludorum award, for the boy of the meeting, went to Archie and the Victrix Ludorum, for the girl athlete of the meeting, was won by Indya. The House relays, which were additional events at the end of the programme, were won by St Anne’s (girls) and Chapman (boys).

Well done to all students who competed.
