Pupils take responsibility

Year 9 pupils of French have been developing their learning through teaching their peers, demonstrating excellent team work and presentation skills.

The Past Tense Project involves pupils researching a specific element of the past, deciding which are the key elements to teach, planning an engaging presentation and designing an activity to assess the learning experience of the class. The initiative hands responsibility to pupils and is another way of bringing learning to life.

Pupils have enjoyed working in small groups, developing their confidence with presentations, and in particular awarding merits to their classmates for good progress.
