Pupils become filmmakers for the day

Pupils had great fun as they became filmmakers for the day thanks to the One Day Film School.

As part of our activities programme in the final week of term, One Day Film School provided practical filmmaking courses for pupils in Years 7, 8 and 10. This included learning about film history, fight choreography, screenwriting, filming and editing.

Working in groups, pupils went around campus filming scenes which they made into short films which were then premiered to their peers.

The courses were hugely enjoyable to take part in as well as teaching pupils valuable skills.
