A great way for pupils to develop a range of skills is to get involved with a school magazine titled Identity.
This magazine is written, designed and produced entirely by pupils, with two editions released each academic year. Offered as part of our co-curricular programme, the magazine contains insightful articles, poetry and art.
The latest edition was on sale on Speech Day recently. It contains an article by a Year 11 pupil on understanding how the Chernobyl nuclear catastrophe had an immense impact on her family and on the Ukrainian generations to come; an interview with Alexander McLean, of Justice Defenders and Social Entrepreneur in Residence at Worth, reflecting on Black Lives Matter; an insight into the work of another of the School’s charities, Mary’s Meals; a personal piece by a Year 13 student on how Worth has given her a sense of belonging; and much more.
Well done to all involved in the latest publication.
