Professional actor works with students

Professional actor Andy Owens, who is currently starring in Blood Brothers, came to Worth to deliver a performance masterclass for students last week.

Our students are studying Blood Brothers for their exams and this was a fabulous opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the play through someone who has been part of the Blood Brothers tour for three years.

Worth regularly invites professional performers to talk to students and pass on tips. Among our visitors last year was actor and director Sam Hiller, best known for his role as associate director of Les Misérables. Sam provided the inspiration and advice for the Senior School production of Les Misérables in December.

Another guest actor who visited Worth earlier this year was Layton Williams, who is currently a contestant in Strictly Come Dancing. These opportunities provide great experiences for our students.
