Praise for Chamber Choir

Thu, Mar 14th, 2024
Worth School

Worth’s Chamber Choir, the auditioned choir made up of some of the best singers in the school, made their annual visit to Chichester Cathedral to sing the service of Choral Evensong on Wednesday.

The choir sang Charles Wood’s setting of the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis in C Minor, Purcell’s highly expressive Lent anthem “Remember Not, Lord, our Offences” and the setting of the Responses by William Smith.

The Cathedral Clergy complimented the choir on singing a “beautiful” service and the choir were excellent ambassadors for Worth and its Music department, supported by a good number of parents in the congregation.

Well done to all.
