Plenty to be excited about

Worth School

With a new Head starting, impressive Sixth Form exam results revealed last week and unprecedented interest in our forthcoming Open Day, there is plenty to be excited about at Worth.

Incoming Head Ben Pennington will be working alongside Senior Deputy Marisa Bosa and our new Senior Prefect team (pictured) to drive the School forward into a bright new era.

The new academic year starts with our annual Welcome Festival on Saturday 5 September. This popular event brings together the Worth community – students, parents, staff and alumni – for a day of celebration when we welcome new families to the School.

Then on Saturday 12 September we have a record number of people registered to attend our Open Day, which will give families the opportunity to meet Mr Pennington and find out more about how we deliver education with heart and soul.

Mr Pennington has spoken previously about his passion for academia while also stating how we believe it is through the dual focus on the highest quality education and personal exploration that our pupils are shaped. We are looking forward to Mr Pennington leading the School from strength to strength after a particularly empowering 2025-26 academic year.

The new school year starts for all students on Wednesday 2 September, with new starters and families welcomed the day before.
