An outstanding achievement

Congratulations to Year 13 student Bea Chappell who was presented with a special commendation award by the Head Master earlier this week.

These awards are given personally by Head Master Mr Stuart McPherson to recognise outstanding achievements or particular acts that reflect the School’s values. Bea was presented with her badge after organising, from start to finish, a whole school charity hockey event which raised more than £1,100 for Breast Cancer Now.

This is the second such award presented by the Head Master this term. In October Year 11 pupil Molly Cass received an award for becoming U14 world champion when competing at the Open Platform Irish Dance Federation World Championships.

Well done to Bea on this latest award.
