Outdoor chess set a great addition

Pupils across year groups have great fun playing with our new giant outdoor chess set which was purchased through the Annual Fund.

Chess is a centuries-old game that is enjoying new popularity with young people and it is great to see different year groups at Worth interacting with our new set. Thank you to a generous donor for funding this project.

The Annual Fund at Worth significantly impacts the educational and recreational experiences of our pupils, and we were delighted that all projects in 2022-23 were fully funded.

The 2023-24 Annual Fund has now been launched and includes projects supporting Science, Design and Technology, Music, Drama and Sport.
