Music students honoured

Tue, Apr 4th, 2023
Worth School

Year 13 students have been recognised for showing outstanding commitment and contribution to music during their time at Worth.

Two types of music ties were presented in the final assembly of the Lent Term last Friday. Music Colours ties are awarded primarily for commitment and contribution to the School’s instrumental ensembles such as the Orchestra, Concert Band and many other smaller chamber groups. Students who are awarded these ties will have been role models in their attitude, attendance and involvement in instrumental ensemble music.

Schola Cantorum ties are awarded primarily for commitment and contribution to choral singing and in particular through sustained service in the Worth School Schola Cantorum. Again, students awarded these ties will have been role models in their commitment.

All of the students awarded music ties should exemplify the School values of humility, community, service and worship, through their work in the Music department.

Well done to all those who received their ties last week.
