Huge congratulations to one of our Year 11 pupils who has become a world champion.
Molly Cass, who is in St Anne’s, became U14 world champion when competing at the Open Platform Irish Dance Federation (OPIDF) World Championships held in London recently.
The event was open to those dancers who had qualified at the UK Open Championships in March. In the U14 category, Molly beat 21 other dancers with a near perfect score of 287.5 from the three adjudicators over the three rounds of the competition – the second placed dancer’s score being 183.
This is a great achievement, even more so for Molly who has renal problems and requires haemodialysis four days per week, which are undertaken at home.
Well done Molly, Worth is proud of your achievement.
