Medal haul for athletes

Six Worth athletes took part in the Sussex Schools’ Athletics Championships last Saturday, having qualified for the Crawley area team, and they claimed a fantastic five medals between them including three gold medals.

Gold medals went to Louis in the 200m, Christian in the 100m and AK in the discus. Tadhg came second in the 100m and Gigi third in the hurdles, while Ewan placed sixth in the high jump.

Louis and Tadhg have qualified for the regional finals this weekend in Basingstoke. We wish them the best of luck.
