Masterclass for netball girls

Our senior netball girls prepared for the new season with a coaching masterclass run by Rowena Scott-Fairclough, Performance Pathway Lead at London Pulse Netball.

Highly-experienced coach Rowena led our 1st VII and U16A girls through a London Pulse Academy session in which the intensity was high. As well as working on accuracy in their movement and taking on the defender, the girls were able to discuss their goals for the season ahead and the standards they should bring to both matches and training.

Under Head of Netball Ms Elaine Pieters, the sport is on the up at Worth. In the 2024-25 academic year, the 1st VII won nine and drew one of their 15 fixtures against good opposition, the U15A side won five and drew one of nine fixtures and there was good progress shown across all teams.
