Magnificent seven for rugby boys

Our rugby teams enjoyed a clean sweep of victories just before half term, winning seven games out of seven in a block of fixtures with Christ’s Hospital.

Our pictures come from the U15A match which ended in a 59-0 win for Worth. This means the U15A team are unbeaten with five wins from five going into the second half of term.

The 1st XV ran out 45-24 winners away to Christ’s Hospital, the 2nd XV triumphed 37-31, the U16A team enjoyed a 52-7 success and the U16B team won 31-7. Completing an excellent day, the U15B team won 24-8 and the U16C team were 45-20 winners.

So far, 2022 has been an excellent year for rugby at Worth with the U15A team winning the Sussex Cup in March, beating Hurst College in the final, the U14s being crowned Sussex Sevens champions and our girls performing superbly on their first visit to the National Sevens.
