Lots of opportunities at weekends

Our weekends programme for boarders at Worth, which is also open to day students, offers a mixture of study, excitement and relaxation, and has been designed following consultation with students themselves.

On Saturday mornings we offer a broad choice of societies, clubs, activities, study support classes and volunteering opportunities, plus a sports fixtures programme. In addition, each week different activities are arranged for Friday and Saturday evenings, plus Sunday daytime, with the programme across each term offering something for everyone.

This coming weekend, students can go to the school production of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe on Friday evening, when we also have the latest talk taking place in the Spencer Lecture Series with professional actor Francesca Amewudah-Rivers talking about her work in theatre and on television in a lecture titled ‘Pursuing a career in the Performing Arts’.

On Saturday evening, Rutherford House will be hosting a fun race night for all boarders, while on Sunday there is an organised trip to the beautiful cathedral city of Canterbury.
